Created in 1945, RTCA is a non lucrative, private organization, regrouping 400 members around the globe. It coordonates the development of recommandations in domains such as telecommunication, navigation, surveilance and air traffic management. Its recommendations are used by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and by the private sector.
